Arrie Rautenbach’s experience in banking spans more than 25 years and transcends South Africa’s borders. Under his stewardship, Absa was awarded the ‘Best Retail Bank in Africa in 2020’ by The Asian Banker, and he was previously named ‘Retail Banker of the Year’ by The Banker magazine. He has contributed to the industry through his board executive membership of the Banking Association of South Africa (BASA) and board membership of Woolworths Financial Services, among other bodies, locally and internationally.
