Global interest in the field of philanthropy and social investment in Africa is growing exponentially. Recent years have seen a considerable increase in research and writings related to these topics. Despite this, there has been very little formal academic research into these fields in Africa.

In response to this lack of dedicated and formal academic focus, the Centre on African Philanthropy and Social Investment (CAPSI) at Wits Business School is excited to offer the following academic programmes and certificates courses, the first of their kind on the African continent:

• Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Philanthropy & Resource Mobilisation (NQF 8)
