Employee Ownership – The Key to Inclusive Growth

As South Africa considers 28 years of democracy, most would agree that the country still has a long road ahead. With growing inequality and alarming unemployment figures, along with a stagnant economy, what does South Africa need to do to finally unlock the door to inclusive growth?

Wits Business School is delighted to invite you to a Freedom Day webinar where we will be talking Employee Ownership. Is this the key to inclusive growth in South Africa? What is the uptake of employee ownership currently? What other steps can be taken towards finally achieving economic justice?

Our guest speaker is Mr Cedric De Beer, project development and strategy consultant. Cedric has spent four decades working for human development and social justice in the fields of rural and urban development, enterprise development, and health and housing finance and policy.

He will be joined by Mr Tendani Nelwamondo, director of the Southern African Employee Ownership Association (SAEOA), and Dr Jenika Gobind, Senior Lecturer at Wits Business School. Click here for speaker bios
