The Future of South African-Turkish Economic Relations: Towards Creating a Framework for Enhanced Bilateral Cooperation

South Africa is Turkey’s largest trade partner in Sub-Saharan Africa, accounting for nearly 18% of Turkey’s trade with the African continent. With approximately 70 Turkish companies operating in South Africa, the value of Turkish investments in South Africa exceeds US$ 600 million.

What are the benefits and advantages of improved South African-Turkish economic relations? What are the opportunities and constraints presented by the two countries’ economic ties?

Wits Business School, in collaboration with the Turkish Embassy, MUSIAD South Africa and the Africa Foundation in Turkey, is pleased to invite you to a webinar which seeks to understand the future of bilateral cooperation between Turkey and South Africa.
