Trading post for entrepreneurs

The programme is based on the CfE’s Generator problem-solving/value-creation methodology, and is aimed at some 20 managers around the country who are facing challenges at store level which need to be resolved innovatively while remaining relevant to the specific store context. The course allows for participants to reflect on their experiences and personal learnings in order to diagnose emerging problems and grow their stores in a strategic, entrepreneurial and holistic manner. Something of an innovation in itself, the WBS McDonalds programme is an experiential course, and all assessments are based within the workplace so that the delegates leave the course with real time projects that can be implemented. Part of the programme, which will end in August, was an interactive game called Trade Post which was played by the McDonalds employees at WBS. By all accounts, they all had an very enjoyable time!
